The Client
This global multi-media business requires a commercially minded and talented mid-level media lawyer to join their team in Singapore. The client produces and distributes innovative programming on pay-TV channels internationally. Their content reaches across all demographics and on all platforms – true integration across on-air, online and mobile.
The client’s network and their related mobile, non-linear and high-definition extensions, reach billions of subscribers worldwide. Specifically in Asia, the client strives to realize multiple markets and multilingual similarities rather than differences.
The Role
- Excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented lawyer to work in a multi-national environment in relation to multiple countries, and to further develop their skills accordingly
- documenting and instructing on various legal aspects of sport & entertainment channels and services business
- drafting and advising on various agreements particularly broadcast/technical ops, production, licensing/regulatory, corporate services, supplier agreements and certain distribution matters
- compliance
- dispute resolution
Background, Skills and Experience required
4+ years’ experience gained in commercial practice in an in-house legal department and/or a well-regarded law firm
Operational understanding of international media and sports industries
Note:
- Salary will be linked to relevant experience and PQE.
- Some travel may be required
- PQE level is only a guide and strong candidates outside these parameters will also be considered
- Full JD available for shortlisted candidates
- Position is open to all nationalities, but preference may be given to candidates locally and/or in the Asia-Pacific region
