Our client is a global US law firm with a well regarded corporate practice.  Despite the challenging market conditions, it has remained very busy particularly as it has a variety of loyal clients.  Due to continued growth it is seeking a senior corporate lawyer to join the firm as a Senior Associate or a Counsel. 

The successful candidate is likely to be a senior lawyer, with 7+ years of experience, and you will be working for an international, or leading Chinese, law firm.  You will have excellent client relationship skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complicated transactions.  You will be experienced in FDI, commercial contracts, UP licensing, and corporate transactional work.  Ideally you will have had some exposure to transactions involving consumer products, franchise and the luxury sector, although this is not a prerequisite. 

Candidates with a UK/US LLM are preferred but graduates from tier one Chinese law schools without a LLM degree will also be considered.  On offer is the chance to work within a collegiate and supportive team on a variety of interesting corporate transactions.  You will work closely with a genuine and inspiring partner who is committed to promoting partners from within his team.
