This position will be responsible for:

- providing day to day guidance and thought leadership with regards to addressing regulatory queries and interaction with the regulators and team members throughout the region

- developing and leading improvement for risk management practices and internal controls

- providing support to financial crime compliance and AML team

- working with senior management on strategic risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives

- other duties as required within the risk and compliance function

This person should have:

- strong background in risk management or compliance within the insurance industry

- 8+ years working experience within risk, compliance, regulatory function

- ability to interface with senior stakeholders on daily basis (both Western and Chinese)

- fluency in English and Mandarin languages
