Our client is currently looking for a number of associates to join the private equity practice in their Hong Kong office.
Our client is an elite global law firm serving leading companies, financial institutions and governments worldwide with a strong footprint in Asia with offices in all the major financial centres in the far east.
The Private Equity practice is a highly integrated, multi-disciplinary group of lawyers.
The team advises global and Asia-Pacific-based private equity sponsors, financial investors and their portfolio companies, as well as select private and public companies, on complex, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including leveraged buy-outs, bolt-on and carve-out acquisitions, joint ventures, structured investments, take-private deals and other public company transactions in Asia-Pacific and worldwide
As an associate in this corporate practice group, you will be working in an exciting working environment, handling challenging, time-sensitive deals that demand a dynamic approach and a resilience of character. From the moment you join, you can expect to be working with – and learning from – partners within the team, as well as with colleagues in groups across the firm.
Qualifications
- JD is strongly preferred at a top US law school
- PQE (US) 4/5+ years experience with a leading Private Equity practice at a peer law firm
- Bilingual and able to conduct business in English and Mandarin (mandatory)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Open to overseas candidates
