Allen & Gledhill leads the nominations for the 9th Annual ALB 2013 SE Asia Law Awards, with a total of 27 nods, with fellow Singapore Big Four law firm WongPartnership coming in second with 19.

International firms, meanwhile, maintain a considerable edge in the deal categories. Baker & McKenzie and Linklaters have received 15 and 14 nods respectively, while domestic contender Rajah & Tann has 11.

In-house teams making a strong appearance, particularly in the deal categories, include CIMB, Morgan Stanley and Standard Chartered Bank, with 13 nominations each.

Awards will be given in a total of 36 categories.

The winners will be announced on Friday, May 17 at a gala event at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.

The event will be attended by senior business leaders, investment bankers, solicitors, in-house counsel, judges, and CEOs and CFOs from across Southeast Asia. Members of the press are invited to register to attend.
