Former King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) managing partners Tony O’Malley and Tim Blue have started boutique law firm LCR Advisory, one year after they resigned from the Australian-Chinese firm.

O’Malley was Australian managing partner at KWM, and Blue, who was a managing partner of the corporate mergers and acquisitions and tax practice, resigned on the same day last May.

LCR Advisory aims to provide strategic legal, corporate and regulatory advice rather than implementing transactions, according to a report in The Australian newspaper.
