Korean law firm Yoon & Yang has opened an office in Hanoi, its second office in Vietnam, less than a year after launching its first in Ho Chi Minh City last November.

“The new office will offer clients gateway for access to the full range of legal services currently offered by the firm’s Seoul office, and will provide client-centred legal services that are reliable and trustworthy,” said the firm in a statement.

Headed by partner Zunu Lee, both offices are expected to have 12 attorneys.

South Korea is Vietnam's biggest foreign investor, thanks to companies like Samsung and LG, which use the Southeast Asian country as a manufacturing base. Investments into Vietnam totalled $450 million in the second quarter of 2017, marking a 22.6 percent drop from a year earlier, reported South Korea's Yonhap news agency, citing government data.
