Collas Crill, the only Channel Island law firm to have an office in Singapore, has announced that
Guernsey-based trust and fiduciary specialist Marcus Hinkley will be moving to Singapore to head its office there.

The current head of Collas Crill in Singapore, Sean Cheong, will be moving back to Guernsey, even as she continues to maintain ties with Asia. Cheong helped set up the firm’s Singapore office in August 2011.

Hinkley has extensive experience in advising institutional trustees on a wide variety of private and commercial trust arrangements. He has also led Collas Crill's fiduciary team.

“Since we opened in Singapore nearly 12 months ago, we have steadily increased the capabilities and strength of our offering there, due to the achievements of Sean Cheong. Sean has done a fantastic job in establishing the Collas Crill office and brand in Singapore, and the Asian region more widely,” said Collas Crill managing partner, Jason Romer, in a statement. “Marcus' move is a major development, which will ensure that we are able to further develop both our fiduciary and corporate and funds experience at a high level for our clients in Asia.”

Headquartered in Guernsey and Jersey, Collas Crill specialises in trusts and funds, catering to institutions and high net worth individuals internationally.
