UAE law firm Hadef and Partners has promoted three lawyers, namely Brent Baldwin, Clare Raven and Hussein Shabana, to its partnership in Dubai.

Baldwin’s expertise is in commercial property and real estate law, including advising on the sale and purchase of premium office and retail space, commercial leasing, due diligence, securities advice, and strata property development and management. He is also experienced in dealing with real estate disputes.

Raven is a commercial litigator with experience in resolving commercial and contractual disputes, and has acted on claims across a number of industries including banking and financial services (including regulatory matters), aviation, pharmaceuticals, professional services, construction, property and civil engineering.

Shabana has experience in civil and commercial law, with particular focus on litigation. With significant experience in the region, his practice includes corporate, commercial, banking, construction, and criminal disputes.

“Brent, Clare and Hussein have each made significant contributions to the success of the firm in recent years, and have extensive knowledge of the legal and commercial considerations facing companies operating within the UAE. Each has a solid client following within their specialism. The appointments underline the firm's future growth in these areas of strength,” said Sadiq Jafar, managing partner of Hadef & Partners' Dubai office, in a statement.
