Eversheds has moved two senior lawyers, partner Rod Bundy and Of Counsel Loretta Malintoppi, to its Singapore office from Paris in order to facilitate the quick-growing market for arbitration and international law across Asia.
Bundy is Eversheds’ head of public international law team and has more than 30 years of experience as counsel and advocate in high-profile public international law cases and international investment treaty and commercial arbitrations. His clients include governments, multinational energy companies, construction companies and state-owned entities.
Malintoppi is dually qualified in France and Italy. She specialises in international arbitration and public international law, and acts extensively as an arbitrator. She is one of the vice-presidents of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai International Arbitration Chamber (DIAC).
The pair has advised on a number of important Asian disputes including representing the Governments of Singapore and Indonesia in two cases before the International Court of Justice (ICJ). They will be responsible for growing the firm's public international law and arbitration practice as part of the litigation team in Singapore.
