Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (BLG) has appointed two new partners to its Asian insurance practice – Antony Sassi in Hong Kong and Mark Errington in Singapore.  Both appointments are part of BLG’s recent international partner promotions.

Sassi, who trained and qualified at BLG, specialises in insurance and reinsurance related dispute resolution and arbitration.  He regularly advises insurers and reinsurers on claims across various classes of business including financial lines, property, business interruption and product liability.  Sassi has also handled a broad range of large scale disputes in London, Bermuda, Hong Kong and China.

Erringtonm who has been based in in Singapore for over 10 years, specialises in insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution.  He advises insurers and reinsurers on complex coverage disputes and manages subrogated recovery actions as coordinating counsel across Asia. His practice spans all commercial classes of business, in particular property, machinery breakdown, CAR/EAR, terrorism/political violence and associated business interruption issues, as well as financial lines matters.ALB
