Due to continued growing our client is actively seeking a talented Legal Counsel at Associate Director/Director level to join their expanding team.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years post-qualified experience specialising in regulatory, equities and trading within a similar organisation.  The specific responsibilities include:

• Serving as the principal contact for legal matters in Asia

• Ensure business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures

• Monitor, interpret and collaborate with others on regulations in Asia, Europe and U.S.

• Collaborate with compliance counterparts in relation to regulatory matters including process changes to comply with regulations

• Advise Asia personnel on matters concerning material non-public information

• Oversight of corporate governance processes of Asian entities including directors meetings

• Review and negotiate legal documents, non-disclosure agreements, account documentation, electronic trading agreements, transaction documents, and vendor/service agreements

• Advise business personnel on various matters, as necessary

• Advise on general corporate and investment matters including tax, employment and company secretarial

• Assist with ad hoc projects when necessary
