A top tier financial institution, our client is now strengthening its markets team with various appointments for its legal department. Part of an outstanding and dynamic team which provides advice on a range of legal, regulatory and contentious matters, the role also oversees FX, rates, derivatives, securitization and structured loans and products. Applicants will need a strong interest in derivatives and should ideally have prior working knowledge of the financial regulatory regime in Singapore or Hong Kong. The ability to communicate effectively in order to build sustainable relationships is crucial to succeeding in this role.

Successful candidates will possess:

• A recognised degree in Law with at least 5PQE, gained with the banking practice of a top firm.
• A keen interest in global markets and proven expertise in structured products, ISDA and/or derivatives.
• Relevant experience from a law firm or financial institution.
• Some familiarity with the regulatory requirements of Singapore or Hong Kong.
• The ability to work independently and interact with all levels of stakeholders.
