We are handling a search for a prestigious bank with a long history in Asia seeking their first in-house lawyer for their Asian operations. They are an award winning provider of global custody, fund administration and securities lending with a strong reputation for quality and building a superior client relationship. Based in Hong Kong, the Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice to all aspects of the Asia business including their growing Greater China presence. You will be part of an experienced global legal team and this will be a visible role with exposure to key stakeholders within the bank.     

Ideally interested candidates should have circa 5 - 10 years pqe with strong banking exposure and an understanding of custody and funds management. Exposure to PRC QDII and RQFII an advantage. Our client is open to candidates currently within the custody / trustee services industry or with related experience and keen to retrain and join a premier brand. Mandarin language capabilities are required.
