Global technology firm with a well established office in Hong Kong is currently recruiting an experienced Commercial IT lawyer for a role as a Senior Legal Counsel.  In this role you will be responsible for advising and working closely with some of the most senior members of management on a wide variety of complex and high profile commercial matters.  You will be responsible for contract drafting and negotiations, compliance with corporate policies and applicable legislation, product liability, IP infringement and other litigation management.  You will also liaise with external law firms and advise on general legal issues related to the business.  You will be given a high degree of responsibility, although you will have considerable support from the firm’s management and current General Counsel who you will work closely with on a range of projects.  The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills and broad commercial and IT focused legal experience. Chinese language skills are not required for this role.  This is an ideal opportunity for a lawyer in private practice who wants to move in-house or a lawyer with in-house experience who wants to step up to a more senior role.  A generous remuneration package is on offer. 7 to 12 years of PQE.
