A leading conglomerate is now recruiting a senior Shipping Lawyer for its dynamic in-house legal team. Offering the opportunity to oversee a range of shipping and commercial matters including shipbuilding contracts, MOUs, commercial and transactional agreements, applicants will need substantive and proven expertise in rendering such advice to key stakeholders. Solid communication skills are required and mandarin proficiency is crucial as there will be frequent interaction with North Asian counterparts.

Successful candidates will possess:

• A recognised degree in Law, and ideally be called to the Singapore Bar.
• At least 10PQE, gained with a law firm or in-house with a shipping company.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and within multi-functional teams.
• Mandarin proficiency in order to liaise with North Asian counterparts.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure.
