This is a position with clear career progression Our client is a leading US law firm looking to expand its Corporate department.  In line with successful expansion plans, the firm is looking to hire a junior corporate lawyer for the Hong Kong office.

We are currently hiring for a lawyer, Hong Kong or US Qualified, able to handle corporate matters within the Asia Pacific region.  Due to the clients and various Asian Jurisdictions, Mandarin is important. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced US law firm with ambitious plans for the region.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years’ post qualification experience from an international firm 
• Solid experience in private OR public M&A transactions; mixed IPO/M&A will be considered
• If available, the candidate should provide a deals list of past corporate transactions
• Able to lead transactions and maintain relationships with the firm’s clients
• for the right person.  

The preference will be for Mandarin speaking candidates with a fluency in reading and writing Chinese.
