OC Queen Street, the Singapore alliance firm of the UK’s Osborne Clarke, has hired Ralph Lim as director and head of its corporate and M&A practice from Drew & Napier.

Lim, who co-headed Drew’s M&A practice, focuses on public and private mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, rights issues, placements, equity fund raising, and private equity and venture capital fund investments.

Lim is one of two directors at OC Queen Street, alongside former Bird & Bird IP partner Chia-Ling Koh.

In August, Osborne Clarke entered into its formal law alliance with OC Queen Street. This was part of its strategy of expanding its Asian footprint, which has also included tying up with BTG Legal in India, and Koh Vass & Co. in Hong Kong.
