Our client is a well established global banking group with over 25,000 employees world wide. It has well established track record in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia.

They are looking for an experienced compliance / legal professional to manage their HK compliance function. The role reports to the Asia Head of Compliance based in another location so there is a degree of autonomy. It requires management of a medium sized team as well as being hands on when required. The role will involve working with and advising the business, being a focal point for regulators and generally improving the operations of the function.

The ideal candidate will typically have at least 8 to 10 years relevant experience and a relevant compliance, legal , regulatory background. Prior experience of global markets and / or commercial banking products is advantageous.
