The Singapore office of Australian IP firm Davies Collison Cave Asia (DCC) has hired patent attorney Thomas Griffiths as a principal from Spruson & Ferguson.
Griffiths worked for DCC in Australia between 2007 and 2010 as a patent prosecution attorney in the mechanical and electrical fields.
A mechatronic engineer and computer scientist, Griffiths is an expert on IP law related to fintech, medical devices and computer-implemented technologies. With experience in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, he specialises in in seeking patent and design protection for medical devices, software and computer-implemented inventions, and in litigation support.
Aside from DCC and Spruson, Griffiths has also worked at Griffith Hack, Australia’s largest and oldest IP law firm.
