Singapore law firm Oon & Bazul has launched a Korea practice after hiring arbitration specialist Julia Yu as a partner from Bae, Kim & Lee, where she was a special counsel. Yu will lead the new practice.

Yu has expertise in handling international dispute resolution matters across varied industries in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States.

From 2012 to 2016, Yu was the head of the Northeast Asia desk at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

Oon & Bazul's managing partner, Mr Bazul Ashhab, said: "We are very pleased to have Julia Yu join the firm as a partner. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the practice of Korean law and international arbitration."
