Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer has hired arbitration specialist Jun Hee Kim as a partner in its newly launched Seoul office from White & Case.

Previously, Kim was where he was a general counsel and executive vice president at Hyundai Heavy Industries. 

Kim advises on international arbitration matters across industries including technology, intellectual property, infrastructure, construction, and engineering. He has handled disputes related to M&A transactions, joint ventures, and distributorships. 

Kim joins partners James K Lee and KS Kim in Arnold & Porter’s Seoul office. The office handles matters relating to cross-border intellectual property, M&A, export control, US litigation, antitrust, international arbitration, and international trade.

“The perspective that Jun Hee Kim brings from serving as general counsel for a top Korean corporation, coupled with his significant international arbitration experience, will uniquely complement our practice and be a key asset for our clients,” said Lee in a statement.
