Singapore law firm Shook Lin & Bok has hired shipping specialist Moses Lin as a partner and head of its maritime practice from Incisive Law, Ince & Co.’s formal law alliance in the city-state, where he was a director.

This is Shook Lin’s second practice head hire in the past month. The firm recently brought on board Jevon Louis as the head of its IP practice from local boutique Ravindran Associates.

Lin, who started his career at Shook Lin more than a decade ago, advises primarily on shipping disputes including those relating to shipbuilding, charter parties, cargo loss and damage, demurrage/despatch and cargo off-specification, as well as commodities and trade disputes.

Before his three-year stint at Incisive Law, Lin worked at shipping law firms Hill Dickinson and Clasis.
