Clyde & Co has hired disputes lawyer Nicholas Lum in its Shanghai office as a partner. He will be joining from Ince & Co, where is currently a partner of its Shanghai office and formerly the head of its Singapore office’s China practice group. He will start the new position from December, working mainly in Shanghai, while spending significant time in Singapore to work with Clyde & Co’s South East Asia teams.

Nicholas Lum is a dispute resolution specialist with particular focuses on international trade and commodities, shipping and shipbuilding and general commercial disputes. He will spearhead the firm’s cross-border dispute resolution efforts.

"Nicholas will further drive our outbound investment agenda under the Belt & Road Initiative and the Greater Bay Area. His deep understanding of the Chinese business, combined with experience in international arbitration and complex cross-border litigation, further strengthen our offering in Asia." Clyde & Co’s Asia Managing Director Ik Wei Chong said in one statement.

 

前英士争议解决专家加盟其礼上海代表处

其礼律师事务所上海代表处近日迎来林健良律师以合伙人身份加盟。加盟前,林律师曾在英士律师事务所上海代表处任合伙人,也曾主导英士新加坡分所的中国业务。林律师未来主要在上海展开执业 ,同时在新加坡协调其礼东南亚团队的工作。
