White & Case has hired M&A lawyer Won Sun Jung as a local partner in Seoul. Jung joins from an in-house role.

Jung advises public and private companies and private equity funds and sponsors on mergers & acquisitions as well as provides commercial advice for overseas expansion through subsidiaries, contractors and distribution agreements. She has represented issuers and underwriters on capital markets transactions in a broad range of securities deals.

Before joining White & Case, Jung worked in-house in various advisory capacities, prior to which she worked at the New York and Hong Kong offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
