Watson Farley & Williams has strengthened its finance practice in Hong Kong with the hire of Khin Voong as a partner from King and Wood Mallesons, where he was a counsel.

Voong, who joined KWM in 2014, specialises in cross-border banking and finance transactions.  His client include financial institutions, corporations and individuals from Hong Kong and mainland China.

Prior to joining KWM, Voong worked at HSBC. 

With the addition of Voong, Watson Farley & Williams now has six partners in Hong Kong.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
