Ince has hired dispute resolution and litigation lawyer Bonita Chan as a partner in its Hong Kong office from Miao & Co., which operates in association with PRC firm Han Kun Law Offices.

This is Ince’s second litigation partner hire this year in Hong Kong, after it welcomed Zhao Rong Ooi from Hauzen, AnJie Law Firm’s associated firm.

With more that 25-years of experience, Chan focuses on cross-border dispute resolution, international arbitration, shareholder and company disputes, banking and securities-related litigation, white-collar crime and contentious regulatory matters. Her clients include state-owned enterprises, listed companies and investors.

Chan headed the dispute resolution team at Miao & Co. She joined that firm in 2017 from K&L Gates, where she was an of counsel. Prior to that, she was a partner at local firm Hastings & Co.

With the addition of Chan, Ince now has 10 partners in Hong Kong.
