India’s Khaitan & Co. has strengthened its technology, media and telecoms practice with the hire of Tanu Banerjee as a partner in Mumbai from IndusLaw.

Banerjee represents media platforms and production houses on commercialisation of intellectual property, content production and  partnerships. She also advises on corporate and commercial laws.

Before joining IndusLaw in 2017, Banerjee was a senior associate at Wadia Ghandy in Mumbai.

Banerjee’s hire comes days after Khaitan announced it had added two partners in Delhi: Akshay Malhotra and Sudipta Bhattacharjee.
