Clifford Chance’s Neeraj Budhwani and Andrew Whan as well as Linklaters’ Davide Mencacci have joined U.S. firm Milbank as partners in Hong Kong.
Budhwani, who has over two decades of experience in the industry, was a partner in the corporate practice in Clifford Chance. He counsels on public and private M&A, cross-border joint ventures and private equity matters including LBOs and pre-IPO investments.
Whan, who headed Clifford Chance's Asia-Pacific corporate/M&A practice, represents private equity funds, financial and corporate investors in on issues including private and public M&A transactions.
Meanwhile, Mencacci acts for both international and domestic European banks and finance providers, sponsors, private equity and borrowers. He also focuses on leveraged finance transactions, structured finance, investment-grade finance, margin lending, property finance and cross-border restructuring transactions.
These three lawyers join Milbank after the firm recruited capital markets expert Liang (Alex) Tao as a partner in Hong Kong from Allen & Overy.
