L&L Partners has hired a six-member infrastructure team in Delhi led by Avirup Nag from rival IndusLaw, weeks after the departures of a number of lawyers to the newly established Saraf & Partners.
The L&L-Saraf split was formalised in July, following the exit of former equity partner Mohit Saraf. Prior to that, L&L had seen a series of exits, but has since sought to replace key members with partner hires such as Abhishek Kumar, Vasudev Dibbur, Subhash Bhutoria, Piyush Mishra, Asim Abbas, Sonali Choudhry, Prabjot Singh Bhullar, Amrita Tonk, Sidhartha Barua and Girish Rawat.
Nag, who was the head of the energy and infrastructure practice at IndusLaw, specialises in M&A, regulatory advisory and project development contracts. He spent nearly six years there, following earlier stints at HSA Advocates and Trilegal.
