U.S. law firm Milbank has welcomed restructuring expert Nicholas Dunstone as a partner in Singapore. Dunstone was most recently a partner at Hong Kong investment firm Asia Research & Capital Management (ARCM).

With 25 years of experience, Dunstone advises financial institutions and investment funds on distressed debt investments and financial restructuring. Prior to joining ARCM in 2012, he was a partner at Clifford Chance in Hong Kong, and at Australian law firm Henry Davis York in Sydney.

At ARCM, Dunstone led investment in private and public credit situations, including primary lending, special situations and distressed debt situations, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure investments.

Dunstone’s arrival means Milbank now has eight partners in Singapore.
