Hong Kong boutique Hugill & Ip has added another family law partner from rival Gall in the form of Caroline McNally.

Her move means a total of five family lawyers have left Gall to join Hugill & Ip. They include partner Kajal Aswani, who had joined Gall in 2020 from Robertsons.

With about 25 years of experience, McNally advises on family issues, including divorce, financial settlements, nuptial agreements and all matters relating to children.

McNally worked for Gall for nearly 11 years and became a partner in 2014. Previously, she was at Farrer & Co, Family Law in Partnership and Manches (now Penningtons Manches Cooper) in London.

Her addition brings Hugill & Ip’s partner count to nine. The firm also added disputes specialist Fiona Chan as a partner earlier this year.
