JTJB International Lawyers, the Bangkok office of Singapore’s JTJB, has combined with local commercial boutique AWP & Alliance.

AWP’s managing partner Apisith John Sutham will join JTJB as a consultant, while Pattaravadee Kongcharoenniwat and Wiyadathawin Luenchavee will be partners in the merged firm’s intellectual property, and corporate and capital markets practices, respectively.

“The combination of AWP & Alliance and JTJB / JTJB International Lawyers maximizes and further expands the full range of legal services available to our clients and potential clients,” JTJB International Lawyers said in a statement.

Founded in 2005, JTJB International Lawyers is the largest overseas office of Singapore-headquartered maritime and commercial litigation firm JTJB. The local office has four partners, including managing partner Naiyachon Tathong.

AWP & Alliance came into existence in 2021 after splitting from Apisith & Alliance, which was founded in 2002 and later acquired by Thailand’s second-largest firm, Weerawong C&P. AWP specialises in corporate and transactional legal services, providing advice on corporate law, intellectual property, M&A, securities and capital markets.
