Japan has been seeing the rise of some quality smaller law firms that are punching well above their weight in terms of work handled and services delivered.

For this reason, in its June 2022 issue, ALB Japan will be publishing its inaugural list of Firms to Watch for Japan. These are firms that are small but are already making waves, and either challenging (or have the potential to challenge) much larger law firms for their share of the work.

This ranking is open to law firms – Japanese or international – with physical offices in Japan.  Only firms with 10 partners or fewer will be considered. The deadline for submissions is 29 March 2022. Please send submissions to Mari at mari.iwata@thomsonreuters.com.

日本では今、質の高いサービスを提供する新しい法律事務所が次々と誕生し、仕事の進め方やクライアントへのサポート提供に変化を起こしています。

これを受けて、ALBジャパンは2022年6月号で、日本を拠点とする法律事務所を初めて対象とする「いま注目の法律事務所」ランキングを掲載することにしました。規模はまだ小さいけれど、法曹界に変化を起こし、専門とする分野では既存の大事務所と競うような少数精鋭の方々を想定しています。

日本に事務所をお持ちであれば、日本の法律事務所でも外資系でも応募資格に変わりはありません。パートナー数10人以下、設立10年以下の事務所が対象です。締め切りは3月29日。ALB記者の岩田万理（mari.iwata@thomsonreuters.com まで応募書類をお送りください。
