The eighth edition of the ALB Korea Law Awards, a virtual event held on Nov. 12, honoured the who’s who of the country’s legal industry, including in-house counsel, law firms and private practice lawyers.

South Korea’s largest firm Kim & Chang continued its dominant run at the ALB Korea Law Awards this year, winning 10 categories, including Deal Firm of the Year, Private Equity Law Firm of the Year, and the coveted Korea Law Firm of the Year.

Top-tier domestic law firms lead the nominations this year – with Lee & Ko and Yulchon tied at the front with 16 nominations each; Bae, Kim & Lee and Kim & Chang follow closely behind with 15 nominations each.

Kim & Chang emerged as the biggest victor at the 4th annual ALB Korea Law Awards, taking home seven gongs, including the coveted Korea Law Firm of the Year prize.

Bae, Kim & Lee, Kim & Chang and Yulchon are locked in a three-way tie for the 4th annual ALB Korea Law Awards, leading the shortlist of finalists with 14 nominations each (excluding deal categories).
