Bird & Bird has welcomed intellectual property specialist Anan Sivananthan, formerly with Creative Technology, as a partner at its Singapore office.

Sivanathan was the head of global legal team and associate vice president at the Singaspore-based soundcard maker, where he had worked since 2000.

His experience covers patent litigation, anti-counterfeiting, IP management and monetisation, trademark litigation and other IP dispute resolution matters. 

Prior to joining Creative, Sivanathan was a partner at Drew & Napier.
