PwC Legal Vietnam has strengthened its corporate law capabilities with the appointment of M&A specialist Phan Vinh Nhan as a partner from Allen & Gledhill Vietnam.
With over two decades of experience Nhan has expertise in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate restructuring. He specializes in advising both foreign and local investors on acquisitions and financing, as well as regulatory and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill as a partner in 2020, Nhan spent more than 11 years at local firm YKVN. It was his second stint at the firm, having started his career there. Nhan’s experience also includes positions at HSBC and Freshfields.
"As PwC Legal Vietnam marks more than 25 years of presence in Vietnam, Nhan's addition is a key part of PwC Legal's strategic growth in Asia Pacific," said a spokesperson for the firm. "We aim to better serve the growing interests of global and regional clients, including those in Vietnam."
With Nhan's appointment, PwC Legal Vietnam now boasts two partners and 11 qualified lawyers.
