Australian firm Allens has added M&A and energy specialist Giles Cooper as a partner in the firm’s Hanoi office from Duane Morris Vietnam, where he spent nearly 14 years.

Cooper, who has over two decades of legal experience, advises investors on energy, M&A and infrastructure development work. He joined Duane Morris in 2007 from Baker McKenzie Vietnam, and was instrumental in establishing the former’s Vietnam offices along with his colleague, Oliver Massmann.

With the arrival of Cooper, Allens now has four partners in Vietnam.
