Hong Kong boutique bowers.law has hired dispute resolution specialist Mark Bedford as a partner from the PRC’s Zhong Lun Law Firm.

bowers.law was set up in 2020 by Kevin Bowers, formerly a partner at the legacy Howse Williams Bowers. With Bedford’s arrival, it now has four partners.

Experienced in cross-border commercial litigation and arbitration, with special focus on debt recovery, sale of goods and international trade, Bedford also advises on employment, construction and engineering, and other commercial disputes.

Bedford spent more than seven years at Zhong Lun, prior to which he was a partner at Hong Kong law firms Boughton Peterson Yang Anderson and Jewkes Chan & Partners.
